Sitka, Alaska is a beautiful little city. As you should know from my kayak tours and vast interpretive knowledge, it is mostly surrounded by Tongass National Forest, a temperate spruce-hemlock rain forest. In this varied climate, you may see a vast shift in summer and winter weather. To illustrate, I have included two of my photos. They are taken from roughly the same spot. (Click on them for a better size.)

In conclusion, Merry Christmas!

Looks like childhood.
